Read the complete architecture & boundaries

HubSpot-to-Salesforce lead movement is documented. Salesforce–DealHub integration is documented, but exact direction and field synchronization are not. Ironclad is a conceptual next stage.

  1. Capture interest. Webinar, event and web leads came through HubSpot into Salesforce.
  2. Qualify and quote. Vivek led the DealHub CPQ implementation and worked with the Salesforce administrator and DealHub team on the integration.
  3. Manage the agreement. Ironclad held contracts. The final connection is a business sequence, not an asserted automated API handoff.

THE PROBLEM

What needed to change.

Marketing interest, sales qualification, quoting and contracts each needed a clear place in the commercial journey.

MY CONTRIBUTION

Where I came in.

I led the DealHub CPQ implementation, participated in the RFP and worked with our Salesforce administrator and DealHub’s team on the Salesforce–DealHub integration.

The team’s delivery

The team selected DealHub for CPQ. HubSpot supported the website and marketing; Salesforce supported sales; Ironclad held contracts.

THE APPROACH

How it came together.

  1. Webinar, event and website leads came from HubSpot into Salesforce.
  2. Marketing-qualified leads progressed through Sales nurturing toward sales qualification.
  3. DealHub supported quoting through its Salesforce integration.
  4. Ironclad served as the contract lifecycle system and contract repository.

THE OUTCOME

What the work made possible.

The business had named systems supporting each stage from lead capture to contract management. The sequence below is conceptual; it does not imply automated handoffs between every system.

Technical & implementation detail

Technologies described in this account: HubSpot, Salesforce, DealHub, Ironclad.

The Salesforce–DealHub integration was work undertaken with the administrator and DealHub’s team. HubSpot leads entered Salesforce. Ironclad held contracts, but no automatic Salesforce–Ironclad API connection or field mapping is established.

The accompanying visual is a simplified explanation. It is not a production screenshot or a complete implementation specification.
